Guinness Lessons

Okay, I admit it. I enjoy a pint of stout. Good old Guinness really is my favorite and, perhaps behind shamrocks and leprechauns, is Ireland’s most recognized product. These days I don’t indulge very often…sometimes life lessons are painful. I’ve learned that dark beer is one of my triggers for gout. SCI Record Book Top Ten Red Stag

The European Red Deer is the largest of all the red deer and an impressive sight in the field. While found in mainland Europe including Ireland and Scotland, the biggest stags are found in the mountains of Europe, as evidenced by the fact that all of the top ten were taken in Austria. Bold, wary and majestic, we present the Top Ten European Red Stag.
