Fly Casting: Basic to Advanced Fly Casting Demo and Instruction with Truel Myers

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced fly caster, this 2-hour, hands-on course will take you through the basic mechanics of the casting stroke; getting the line hand involved; shooting line; false casting; false casting and shooting line; roll casting; and double hauling.

Truel will demonstrate all of these casts followed by the participants casting with instruction. Fly rod outfits will be provided for instruction with a maximum of 8 participants. Truel Myers is a Florida native and professional fly fishing instructor with 40 years fly fishing experience and 27 years teaching experience.
