The first official day of the 2014 SCI Convention wrapped up with a great dinner, Awards presentations and a rockin’ concert with Big & Rich!

SCI Room Rates Expiring

Mandalay Bay is the host hotel for the 2014 SCI Convention in Las Vegas, NV.

Members who have not already booked hotel rooms for their trip to the 2014 Convention should book soon with an SCI block hotel. SCI’s hotel blocks are open for booking until January 10, and negotiated rates are not guaranteed after that date. Protect your reduced rate by booking now. See the hotel page on www.showsci.org for booking information for SCI’s participating hotels.

Register Now and Meet Jeff Foxworthy

Preregister before January 29 to avoid long lines onsite (badges will be ready at will call) and you will be included into a drawing to join Jeff Foxworthy for SCI’s private meet and greet photo session on Friday evening. Must be present to win.
  • JeffFoxworthyhnt4evr010214Reserve your room by January 10th to receive SCI’s special discounted rates.

SCI’s Annual Hunters’ Convention is the place where hunters gather, but it is better to gather in the aisles where you can shop for your next hunt than in a long registration line. Maximize your time in Las Vegas and at the convention when you pre-register for the convention at www.showsci.org or by calling 888-SHOW-SCI. We will have your convention materials ready for you to pick up at will-call.

Hunter Down! Global Rescue – Stories from the Field

global-rescue-logo-112612Don’t miss this must attend seminar at the 2014 SCI Annual convention in Las Vegas! Wherever you are traveling it helps to know you have an out when things go wrong.

You’ve heard stories about Global Rescue and the great things it has done for hunters around the world.  Attend this seminar to hear some of these stories, including a few from Don Causey, former editor/publisher of The Hunting Report.  You’ll also meet Scott Hume.  Scott runs Global Rescue’s security and rescue operations.  Prior to Global Rescue, Scott spent a career in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer culminating in promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  Scott served globally and in nearly all types of infantry units, including service in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

You’ll also get the hard facts about Global Rescue’s service, as well as its importance to you as a travelling hunter.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about a great new Global Rescue benefit for all SCI members.
