SCI Welcomes Bass Pro Shops
Safari Club International is proud to welcome Bass Pro Shops to our corporate sponsor family. “Bass Pro Shops’ reputation for quality and commitment to the unencumbered access to enjoy the great outdoors is a perfect match to the SCI philosophy,” stated Phil DeLone, CEO of Safari Club International. “Like SCI, Bass Pro Shops is dedicated to preserving and expanding our hunting heritage.”
“We’re grateful for SCI’s commitment to protecting hunters’ rights and promoting wildlife conservation and are extremely proud to team up with them on behalf of this mission,” said Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris. “This partnership is important because upholding our hunting heritage is directly tied to supporting conservation. Hunters are the primary source of funds for managing wildlife and their habitats through license fees, excise taxes on equipment, and donations to conservation organizations. Yet everyone who enjoys wildlife and the great outdoors benefits from the support of hunters.”
Bass Pro Shops is recognized as a retail mecca for sportsmen and women. With a focus on involving more youth and families in the enjoyment of the outdoors, they have become well known as the outdoor industry’s corporate conservation leader.
