Youth Safari Day Comes Of Age At 20

In July, the Orange County and Los Angeles Chapters of SCI celebrated the 20th anniversary of Youth Safari Day, an annual event that sees thousands of youngsters from around Southern California enjoy the outdoor sports at Mike Raahauge Shooting Enterprises in Norco.

The 20th edition of Youth Safari Day was the biggest and best ever – a credit to both chapters and to SCI Past President Dennis Anderson and Patrick Raahauge, who operates the venue where such an event is possible.

Organizer Dennis Anderson shared some of his thoughts on the event with J. Alain Smith.
