Women of SCI Events

Women of SCI is an informal group whose mission is Making Connections. It does that by planning and hosting events for women at the Safari Club International Convention and at other venues during the year.  There is no membership required to participate in Women of SCI events.

Women of SCI is a group of women volunteers making connections with other women associated with SCI in some way, and with exhibitors at Convention.

Two Women of SCI receptions were hosted at the 2018 Convention by Gunderson Jewelry and Global Rescue.  Beverages and snacks were offered to women stopping by.

This spring, a Women of SCI event was hosted at the YO Headquarters Ranch in Texas.  Women who attended were offered a variety of activities ranging from horseback riding, massages, swimming, touring and learning about the ranch, shopping in nearby Kerrville, feeding giraffes, an evening BBQ at the very special Mayan Temple with its stunning vistas and viewing numerous exotic animal species.

The group had so much fun participating in activities and making connections that it decided to plan a 2019 event at the YO Headquarters.  Mark your calendar for May 1 – 5, 2019.  Reservations for the event can be made by contacting the YO Headquarters at (844) 835-3222.

Women of SCI is planning a scavenger hunt for women at the 2019 Convention in Reno.  Watch for future articles as Convention time nears.  In addition to the spring YO Headquarters Ranch event, planning is in the works for a possible 2019 fall event. You can receive email notices about Women of SCI events by sending a request for email notices to womenofsci@gmail.com. –Veronica Kosich and Sue Hankner
