Under Armour’s New Outerwear Takes On All Weather Conditions

Under Armour has gained a reputation for providing apparel that combines cutting edge technology with a first-hand understanding of what hunters need to stay comfortable in all types of conditions in the field. For 2018, Under Armour has added three new products to its outerwear lineup.

The UA Ridge Reaper Infil Windstopper Jacket is built to withstand harsh wind, rain, snow and rapidly falling temperatures that test the mettle of any dedicated hunter. The Ridge Reaper features a Gore-Tex soft shell as its foundation. Completely windproof, the Ridge Reaper provides breathability and stretch to keep hunters comfortable and mobile in the most brutal conditions. In addition, the Ridge Reaper features UA’s Storm technology that repels water and UA ColdGear technology for peak thermal performance. MSRP for the Ridge Reaper Infil Windstopper Jacket is $250

The UA Grit Jacket is for whitetail hunters looking for scent control, durability and all weather comfort. Windproof construction protects the hunter from violent gusts and UA’s scent control technology keeps human odor from escaping. Along with many strategically placed pockets for an abundance of gear, the Grit jacket features a built-in safety harness access point for treestand hunters. Available in a wide variety of camo colors, the Grit Jacket retails for $180.

Under Armour has developed a new hoodie designed specifically for women. The Brow Tine Hoodie is constructed of a textured fabric that is quiet, but repels rain and snow and features UA ColdGear tech for heat retention. The hoodie is also safety harness compatible for treestand users. The Brow Tine Hoodie is available in a range of camo patterns and retails for $160.
