When Mossberg introduced its Patriot line of traditionally designed, affordable rifles in 2015, consumers and industry insiders alike were impressed with the workmanship and classic lines of the American made bolt-action rifles. Now Mossberg has upgraded the Patriot line with the Revere, dressing up the proven Patriot bolt action with a classic walnut stock with rosewood and maple accents, while still keeping the entire package affordable for the average hunter.
Building on the proven twin-lug, push-feed machined steel action of the standard Patriot, Mossberg has dropped the action in a Premier #2 Grade European walnut stock with a rosewood forend tip and grip cap bordered by maple wood spacers. Fine-line checkering on the forend and grip add to the elegant lines of the rifle and the walnut stock features a hand-rubbed oil finish.
The Revere is offered in six chamberings: 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Win., .308 Win., .270 Win., .30-’06 Sprg. and .300 Win. Mag. With 24-inch polished blued barrels and Weaver-style scope bases and sling swivel studs.
Suggested MSRP for the new Patriot Revere is $823.
