Tennessee Valley SCI is again partnering with TWRA and TWF on a youth dove hunt. All Chapter members are invited to attend. Please inform the youngsters in the area about this opportunity. The Chapter has donated a shotgun that will be given to a lucky participant.
On Saturday, September 10, 2016, noon to sunset, the dove hunt for youngsters ages 10 to 15 will be held on Hiwassee Refuge WMA. All participants must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult at least 21 years of age. Steel shot is required. WMA Small Game Permit is required.
No access permitted by boat. Nontoxic shot approved by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service is required for dove hunting.
