Safari Club International’s Convention and Publications departments have won prestigious MarCom Gold Awards for the 2016 Convention Preview and Publications Media Kit. MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world.
Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. This year the competition received about 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and more than a dozen other countries.
“By partnering on the Convention Preview, the Convention and Publications departments showed that SCI is judged among the leaders in the world, extending that reputation beyond the hunting industry,” commented Libby Grimes, Convention Director. “It is exciting that again SCI is ranked among the best,” added Steve Comus, Director of Publications.
The MarCom graces the trophy cases of some of the top business and communication firms in the world with the Gold Award presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Other 2015 Gold Award winners included such globally recognized names as IBM, Microsoft and United Healthcare.
