Crossbows A Big Hit With Vets And Kids

Youth crossbows were a big hit at the Vets picnic at St. Johns, MI June 14, 2014. The SCI S.E. Michigan Bow Hunters Chapter had a steady stream of shooters from 10am to 4pm. Paul Racine and his son, Nate, brought their reverse Horton crossbow for the adults and it attracted a lot of attention, too. Paul and Nate are really good instructors who work great with the kids and the adults who wanted to shoot the crossbows. Many were shooting a crossbow for the first time. Rich DeLisle got called away on a family emergency and Paul and Nate worked with Ralph Cagle on the crossbow range. They made what could have been a hectic day, into a fun day at the range.

The SCI Southeast Michigan Bow Hunter’s chapter is proud to sponsor and assist Camp Liberty in any way it can. Our Vets and youth deserve our continued support, and joining with Camp Liberty is an effective way to do both.
