Safari Club International publications have won the prestigious MarCom Platinum Award for SAFARI Magazine and Hunt Now! e-newsletter. The MarCom is presented by The Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (AMCP), with entries judged by experienced senior level professionals in the respective categories.
According to the AMCP, “Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.”
There were over 6,500 other entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries in the 2014 MarCom Awards. Other Platinum category winners this year included such global powerhouses as National Geographic, AT&T and Gulfstream.
“It is an honor that two of SCI’s publications have been deemed among the best in the world,” said Steve Comus, SCI Director of Publications. “Further, it is exciting that our efforts in both the print and digital media are ranked as best. To me, this means we are communicating effectively in today’s fast-paced world. It also is important to me that these honors put SCI, hunting and hunters in a good light among others in the world who may not have known nor understood them.”
