In April, the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Safari Club International donated a remote controlled bedded whitetail buck deer decoy to the Tennessee Wildlife  Resources Agency for use in their efforts to catch roadside shooters and poachers. Four standing robotic deer, previously donated by SCI-TNV to the agency have resulted in more than 100 arrests and convictions. Offenders lost their hunting privileges for three years and were required to pay a large fine. The bedded  buck was donated because some repeat offenders recognized the standing decoys. Currently, three additional bedded decoy does are being prepped and will be donated to TWRA soon.
