Gibbs, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, studied Media Technology at Pima Community College in Tucson. He has extensive experience in the media world, where he gained valuable experience in writing advertising copy, media purchasing and analysis, production, and more. In his prior job he was tasked with writing copy for client websites with a focus on utilizing keywords for search engine optimization, editing and publishing blog entries, creating posts for client Facebook pages and other social media outlets.
“This new position helps Safari Club International address the growing need for an increased presence both on the web and in the rapidly-growing world of social media,” said SCI President Craig Kauffman. “Randy’s skills and enthusiasm are a big asset for the Club as we continue expanding our electronic and social media efforts and continue our mission of protecting our hunting heritage.”
