During each evening event at the SCI Convention, members enjoy a great dinner camaraderie and world-class entertainment. It’s an SCI tradition that continues with a line-up of music and comedy that represents an incredible value.

Wednesday night’s grand opening dinner features a keynote address from Mike Huckabee and a performance by country musician Travis Tritt. Huckabee will also speak at our grand opening ceremonies and host his radio show The Mike Huckabee Show, live from the show floor Wednesday morning.  Tritt has several country hits that include “Country Club,” “Help Me Hold On” and “Foolish Pride.”

This new reception replaces the Thursday night dinner and will be an array of hors d’oeuvres, carving stations and cocktails set in a festive atmosphere.  An exciting lineup of evening auction hunts and items will lead into the SCI Major Awards program.  This program honors hunters, our hunting heritage and top species taken in the past 24 months as well as recognizes 2012’s hunting accomplishments. The evening closes with a splash of country and comedy from the Bar J Wranglers. Purchase a ticket to this event for $25.00. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle with other SCI members and share your hunting adventures.

Friday evening you will get to hear country music from Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry both have a commanding stage presence that will make for a fun-filled evening. The duo has a long list of hits that includes: “Something to be Proud of,” “Lucky Man,” “Roll with Me” and “Back When I Knew it All.”

Saturday evening hear a keynote address from The Honorable Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney. Dick Cheney is the former Vice President and has many years’ experience running corporations in the private sector. Liz Cheney is a contributor to FOX News and the former founder and chairman of
