Nikon designed a new line of scopes specifically for inline muzzleloaders. The new Inline XR gives hunters a ballistic edge when it comes to increasing their effective range by using a BDC 300 reticle. When used in conjunction with Nikon’s Spot On Ballistic Technology, hunters can fully optimize the reticle to match the drop of virtually any saboted load.
Optically, the Inline XR is 3-9X40mm with five full inches of eye relief throughout the entire magnification range. That’s the type of eye relief needed to prevent “scope eye” when firing those stout three-pellets loads. Light transmission is reported to be 92% to help hunters better see game at dawn or dusk when game animals are most active. Parallax is 100 yards.
Physically and mechanically, the new Inline XL comes in matte, silver or Realtree APG finishes, has 1/4-minute positive click adjustments, a quick-focus eyepiece and is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof.
